Teamcast Live Game Updates

Teamcast

Teamcast was designed primarily for player contacts as an enhancement to the game day experience for both those attending the game as well as those that are unable to make it to the field. At its core Teamcast is team chat centered around the game event. As with the regular Team Chat, users can share photos and short videos. Teamcast provides options to easily share score updates, play updates and clock updates.

Please note mobile notifications should be enabled for the Byga App ( in the “...” more menu →Settings → Device Settings). Also, note that mobile chat notifications by default are disabled for the coach both in the Team Chat as well as in Teamcast. A coach can enable chat notifications by clicking on the red bell.

Starting a Teamcast

Starting a Teamcast is possible about 30 minutes before the scheduled event start time. The Teamcast link will be found on the home screen or on the event details page.

Using Teamcast for Post Game Reports

For teams needing post game team reports, the information in the Teamcast can be used for score reporting and stats such as goals, assists, yellow, red cards and more. A link to a Teamcast archive will always be available from the Team Detail screen. A few hours after the end of the game, the Teamcast will be archived in a read-only mode which will continue to be accessible from the Event Detail screen.
