Byga's Pro Planner allows managers and coaches alike to collaborate on game schedules before the season starts.
To access the Pro Planner, navigate to the Quick Access bar in the top left of your dashboard when you open the web version. From there click on the newly added icon for the Byga Pro Planner. Note, the Pro Planner is not available on the mobile application.
To make a new Pro Planner hit the “+New Planner” button. There, you can name your schedule and create a description.
Upon opening the Pro Planner you are met with a few options. In the top right there are three icons, calendar, share, and settings.
Starting with the calendar icon, you can click on this icon to link existing game schedules as well as color code them however you like. The only game schedules you will see are the game schedules you are personally linked to as a manager or coach. In order to continue to build the schedule with more games, you will need to share the schedule with the managers linked to the correct team.
You might choose to do this if one coach is linked to multiple teams, and those teams each have a different manager. These managers can collaborate on the Pro Planner to build out the full scope of a coach’s schedule.
To share the schedule, click the share icon in the top right. You can then search for a user in the search bar. Select the user, then you can choose to share or share with notification. If you choose to share with a notification, the user will receive an email inviting them to collaborate on the Pro Planner.
The remaining icon in the top right corner is settings. This icon simply lets you change the name and description of the Pro Planner.
When clicking into the calendar itself you will see a plus button in the top right corner of any day on the calendar. Here you can choose to leave a note, and you can color code said note like you can with the game schedules.
This allows you to line up notes that are specific to a team with the game schedule color for that team for better organization. You may want to create a note to inform about travel days, supplies to bring for tournament weekends, among others.
