Byga now allows you to lock attendance updates at a certain point prior to event time. You can also choose to be updated on attendance changes after a certain point prior to the locking.
To do this, select your team from your dashboard. From there click settings, then the attendance tab. Here you will see the options to update and to lock based on a time proximity to the event start time. You can do this for games, practices, and other events.
When the notification timer is activated and a parent updates their player’s attendance, only the team staff that are selected will be notified. Note, team staff or club staff with permission to update team attendance will not trigger a notification.
For the events that have update notifications scheduled and lock settings on, a timer or lock icon appears for the respective events.
From mobile, users can see a timer icon when choosing to update attendance after the update time frame chosen by team staff. When changing their attendance at this point, users get a notification letting them know team staff will be notified of the change.
After attendance is locked, users will see a lock icon when changing their attendance. Upon trying to update attendance status, users will be met with a notification letting them know they cannot change their attendance at that point.
If it is urgent that you update your attendance after the attendance is locked, please reach out to your coach or team manager about updating your attendance status.
